Josh Biber
Teach For America – Greater Boston, Executive Director
Josh Biber is the founding executive director of the Teach For America Greater Boston region, where he also served as director of new site development, laying the groundwork to establish this new site. A 2004 Teach For America Phoenix corps member, Josh was the regional recipient and national semi-finalist for the Sue Lehmann Excellence in Teaching Award after he led his fifth grade students to achieve two years of reading growth and more than 80 percent mastery of math content in each year of teaching. Josh first joined Teach For America staff in 2006 as a recruitment director, garnering 20 percent growth in his portfolio of universities, and 50 percent portfolio growth in 2007. Josh graduated with honors from Brown University and earned a M.Ed. from Arizona State University.
Jonathan DeSimone
Sankaty Advisors, LLC, Managing Director
Jon joined Sankaty Advisors in 2002. He is a Managing Director and a member of the Credit Committee. Previously, Jon was a Manager at Bain & Company where he worked in the firm’s Private Equity Practice performing strategic due diligence and post-acquisition strategy assessments Jon received an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a B.A. from Georgetown University.
Chris Hadley
Berkshire Partners, Managing Director
Chris is a Managing Director at Berkshire Partners. Prior to joining Berkshire in 1998, Chris worked as a consultant in the LBO Practice Group at Bain & Co. He also worked in the consumer products industry consulting to General Mills, Con Agra and Borden Foods in the area of marketing and product development. Chris received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin.
Lynne Sullivan
Catholic Schools Foundation, Senior Program Officer
Lynne Sullivan is the Senior Program Officer at the Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) where she oversees the distribution of $8 million in scholarships and other grants to 100 Catholic elementary and secondary schools in greater Boston. She is credited with changing the grant allocations from an outdated, unstructured process to a modern, results oriented program that is centered on strengthening and sustaining schools. Lynne is a 1994 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and a 2002 graduate of the Heller MBA program in Management and Social Policy at Brandeis University, where she serves as Chair of the Alumni Outreach Committee on the Board of Directors.
